Father Frank Fagan - Biography
In 1980 Father Frank took his first vows as a Benedictine monk at Saint Mark's Priory in South Union, KY and in 1984 because of his parents poor health was asked to return home to South Florida to care for them. After his parents passed away in 1993 Father Frank started to attend a small storefront church in Margate where he attended Mass on a regular basis. Through the guidance of two priest of that church, they encourage him to take up studies toward the priesthood and on February 10th, 1996 was ordained a priest and served as pastor of that church, a few years later established a parish in the Fort Lauderdale area and that church stayed active for close to five years. After the closing of the church, Father Frank started to use his car to celebrate Masses at peoples homes and sometimes fill in for priests who wanted to go away. For the past several years Father Frank has preformed hundreds of outdoor wedding ceremonies, not to mention baptisms and funeral services. Some of the local newspapers have even seen pictures of Father Frank at a Animal Blessings at various animal shelters or pet expos.
